Main Intake in Singapore

  • The main intake takes place in September each year with

  • smaller intake in January at many universities in Singapore.

  • Application deadline for main September intake is June.

English Language

  • The score for Language proficiency test like IELTS or TOEFL might be required (not necessarily) for Singapore Student Visa if your chosen university has specified the same.

  • For studying in Singapore, preferred English language test is IELTS.

Living Expenses

  • The cost of living in Singapore is significantly lower than that of many developed countries.

  • An international student spends on average about SGD 750 to SGD 2,000 a month on living expenses, including accommodation, utilities, food, transport, clothing, telecommunications, books & stationery, medical and personal expenses.
